Electric Vehicles

Related imageInnovation of Electric Vehicles

An electric car is powered by an electric motor instead of a gasoline engine. The electric motor gets energy from a controller, which regulates the amount of power based on the driver’s use of an accelerator pedal. The electric car uses energy stored in its rechargeable batteries, which are recharged by common household electricity. In one trip to the gas station, you can pump 330 kilowatt-hours of energy into a tank commonly holding 10 or more gallons. It would take several days to get the same amount of energy from household electric current. Fortunately, it takes hours and not days to recharge an electric car, because it's much more efficient.Charging up at home means never going to a gas station and electric cars require almost none of the maintenance, like oil changes and emissions checks, that internal combustion cars require. In my opinion electric vehicles are less harmful for the environment than a hybrid car,but electric vehicles have their problems to.Electric vehicles take much more time charging than just 5 minutes in the gas station, besides it requires a lot of energy to charge an electric car.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
-Stephen R. Covey

Habit 1. Be Proactive
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger."
Image result for be proactive
This habit is very important, being proactive is the key for being successful. When you are proactive you are always working in what you want to become in life and when you work hard you see good results.People that aren't proactive don't do much for themselves or for what they want to accomplish, they just leave everything for the last minute. In our lifes we decide where and what we want to do,therefore we need to be proactive and work on our goals in life. While being proactive you are a prepared person for important things you might have, like a job interview or applying for a school. You will work in your projects way early to have everything in order and not at the last minute and being at a rush. One of the most important things you choose is what you say. Your language is a good indicator of how you see yourself. A proactive person uses proactive language I can, I will, I prefer, etc. A reactive person uses reactive language I can't, I have to, if only. Reactive people believe they are not responsible for what they say and do they have no choice.

Habit 2. Begin with the End of Mind
"Control your own destiny or someone else will." (Jack Welch)
Image result for begin with the end of mind
This habit is more like having a plan or a goal in mind.Beginning with the end in mind is like seeing yourself at where you want to end.For example when a teacher or your parent tells you what you want to become in life, what you answer is what you will like to be obviously.Concluding that you will need to figure out the steps you will need to achieve in order to accomplish your goal. This habit is a very helpful habit because it will help you keep your life organized, your mind will already know what way to choose. This will help also to have control with your destiny, doing whatever it takes to end where you want to.Think about the result of the end,all the hard work you did will pay of at the end.You have a goal, place,or thing that you want to achieve so just think about how good you will feel when you reach it and be the best of you.

Habit 3.Put First Things First
"Organize and execute around priorities."
Image result for put first things firstThis new habit is very important because in life you need to give the priority to the things that are more important. Most of the time we tend to spend more time in other things that we know are not that important for us or just don't give nothis in exchange for us.We need to learn to spend more time on things that we know are important and will have beneficial results. For example if in school you have a big test coming up and you are not that prepared to get a good result. You will need to give time in your day to study and prepare for that test and not getting distracted with other things that are not important or that just can be done another time. Most of the time these days students tend to be more time on their cellphones, playing video games,or  watching t.v.In a result for that,a lot of time is wasted in things that are distraction than things that are really important.

Habit 4: Think Win-Win
"Think win-win or no deal."
Image result for think win first
This habit it's more like a motivational habit,it explains that you should always think in winning. Many times a lot people accept defeat even when they haven't performed yet.It can be by any thing fear, lack of confidence, unprepared, etc. There can be many ways why people think in defeat first instead of winning. For example if a football player has a very important game but he knows the rival team,he might think that the opposite team is better that his team, but that's only a state of mind.If you think in defeat first that's the result you might get,but if you strive to a victory you will gain confidence for you and your team. That's all you need to be mentally prepare before something really important,be mentally secure that you will perform well.

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood
"Diagnose before you prescribe."
Image result for seek first to understand then to be understood
This habit is telling that you should understand a problem that you might have first. In life you will face a problem that you won't be able to understand and to solve,to solve it you must first seek for help and understand the problem. We need to understand the problem we are facing first in order to be able to solve it and to help us in the future with future problems. For example if one day you have a test coming up,you need to study what the problems might be.You need to study the topics that you have being learning in class because that is what the test is going to be about. That is the solution for you to understand problems first to know how to solve them and then face them. This also leads to being prepared and not wanting to understand the problem on the last minute, you need to be anticipated and analyze the problem way before the test.

Habit 6: Synergize"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (1+1=3)"
Image result for synergize
This new habit is more like process of working in team.Is way of resolving a problem with other people, you need to be open minded and to understand everyone's point of view.Everyone can help in solving the problem that they might be facing, anyone can help by sharing their own personal experiences that relate to the problem itself. For example if you have a presentation at school and you get assigned a team to present with.If at the day of the presentation one of the team members doesn't appear all the team will have to cover his or her place. All team members will have to cooperate and explain the part that is missing. At the end the whole is more important than steps that were needed to take."You will also learn from these people and maybe you will add it into your life."This quote is telling you how each one of us can do things that others may not but if we work together and combine them it will turn out to be better. I can incorporate this habit into my life because I will work with others, have more energy/enthusiasm, be open minded and other things that will make be become a better person and having a bright future.

Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Four Dimensions of Self-Renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional
Image result for sharpen the sawThis new and final habit is telling that you should practice and be prepared before acting. In your life you need to prepare yourself for whatever is it that you want to accomplish. It takes hours of hard work to be successful, that is the key to achieve everything. If you prepare well before performing anything then you're chances of success are going to be higher because you are going to be prepared."If I had four hours to chop down a tree, I’d spend the first two hours sharpening the axe"This quote is from Abraham Lincoln, this quote is a good example of how to really succeed. No matter what...rigorous preparation is the key for success. You can sharpen the saw physical or mentally also. Spiritual example can be you studying your religion so you can be at peace with God. Another way to sharpen the saw socially and emotionally can be by helping out other so your emotions and their emotions are at peace. Theses examples are great because it shows you how to use them in the real world.
